We mobilized the Venezuelan-American community and worked with legislative offices in the United States Congress and Senate to achieve the creation, by law, of #UnFondoPorVenzuela. You can consult the text of the Bill Here .
This special fund will protect the assets recovered in trials against corrupt Venezuelans in order to eventually return them for the benefit of the Venezuelan population.
This fund would be administered by the American Government, through the Departments of State and Treasury, and would be used for:

Strengthen democratic governance and institutions, including the democratically elected National Assembly of Venezuela;

Defend internationally recognized human rights for the people of Venezuela, including supporting efforts to document crimes against humanity and human rights violations;

Support the efforts of independent media outlets to broadcast, distribute and share information beyond the limited channels available under the Maduro regime; and
-
Combat corruption and improve the transparency and accountability of institutions that are part of the Maduro regime;
